Start recognizing employees.
🚩 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. Later, if you want, you can maybe consider a recognition system of some kind. But, for now, you just need a few minutes. Of course, you have to do it correctly, make it part of your culture and commit to continuing it. ✅ It’s not enough to suddenly start saying “good job” and thinking that’s it. ✅ Instead, be specific. ✅ Explain exactly why you appreciate them and what difference they made. ✅ And tell them immediately. Also, train your managers. Start 1:1. If you later want to recognize publicly, make sure everyone is comfortable with that. Nowadays, with so many working from home, it’s even more critical to build a culture of recognition. 🚩 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱. So, start doing this, and see the difference it makes. #employeeengagement #leadership #culture
